Conflict of Interest Statement & Policy

Membership in the Southwestern Officials Association is a privilege offered and granted to all individuals who perform their duties with moral and ethical standards. It carries with it an obligation for each individual member to uphold and promote the stated goals and objectives of the Association, and not to bring into the Association disgrace or disrepute. Any conduct which is considered unethical, immoral, or as a conflict of interest, shall be subject to possible disciplinary actions by the Regional Supervisor or Board.

The integrity of game officials must be without question. If there is a conflict of interest at or with a member school, the official is required to identify the issues with the regional supervisor prior to the start of the season.
